handmade in Prince Edward Island since 1975

Nanny Rose comes from a long line of French Canadian quilters. She's been sewing for over 50 years. Her studio is in a cozy shingled cottage in Prince Edward Island. Surrounded by lavender bushes and apple trees, it is a tranquil setting where she creates her handmade masterpieces.
She uses classic patterns, many dating back to the 1800s, to create her one-of-a-kind quilts. No two are alike. All of her quilts are created with 100% cotton, and she likes to incorporate vintage cotton and rare, discontinued prints from her vast fabric library.
Bespoke quilts that utilize family mementos are a Nanny Rose specialty; a swatch from a wedding dress or a baby blanket, your dad's silk necktie, or a cherished embroidered handkerchief - any of these can be integrated into the design.

Each one is made to order and is guaranteed to be a quilt that you will treasure for generations.
